Sometimes, games are pushed forward in their release… other times they’re delayed by a month or two… other times, they’re delayed for a hell of a lot longer. If you’ve been waiting for Anarchy Reigns, then prepare yourself for some bad news: It has been delayed until the first quarter of 2013.
It was originally supposed to see the light of day in 2012, July as a matter of fact, but a Tweet found by Joystiq tells an entirely different story, instead pointing to a release some nine months later.
Reasons for the delay could be numerous, although Sega aren’t in a good financial situation right now – you could go as far as to say it’s pretty awful. Platinum Games are the developers, creators of the respected “Mad World” and “Bayonetta” and don’t forget, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance….
Hopefully if it’s for financial reasons, Sega can sort themselves ASAP.
