If you’re an Android user, no doubt you’ll be happy to hear that yet another update has been released for your cherished device.
AnandTech have taken a good look at the new update, which among other things, has a host of UI improvements, widgets are now automatically resizeable in the new update. Another great update is the keyboard (personally, I prefer Swype, but in any case), it now supports extra languages, and a plethora of new words are stuffed into the dictionary. There are also a few other smaller changes with the keyboard making it somewhat easier for android newbies to get used to their new phone.
Jelly Bean: A faster experience
The overall experience should be a bit nippier, particularly with HTML5 video, with faster rendering and less RAM used… which let’s face it, will only help your phones overall speed. Also of note is Javascript isn’t as slow as it once was (not that
Google’s answer to Siri is there, improved voice search – with offline voice recognition.
There are some other changes, such as for the overall settings, and also extra options for the developers among you.
