I doubt that it will come to a surprise to anyone who pays attention to the Assassin’s Creed franchise, but according a Eurogamer source, the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3 will not be released with it’s console counterparts on October 31st.
The source claims that the game will arrive “in November”, but there is no specific date at the moment. Hopefully we will get some concrete informaiton soon, but it does seem very likely that PC gamers will have to wait a while. This is in keeping with the tradition of the Assassin’s Creed series though, as Brotherhood took almost four months to come out on PC, and Revelations only a couple of weeks.
Ubisoft responded to this by saying, “The Windows PC release date is still to be announced,” which is not exactly going to fill anyone with confidence. Personally, I’m just hoping that the November time frame is accurate and that the PC users out there won’t be left waiting for ages like they were with Brotherhood. At the very least, they should get it before christmas. In theory.
