Beyond: Two Souls, the latest title from Quantic Dream, has reached sales figures of over one million worldwide units sold.
This is a fairly impressive feat, as the game has only been out for just under three months, with it releasing back on October 8 in the US. Even with the three day delay for the Europeans, Quantic have reached quite the milestone. They even went so far as to create an official tribute page, both to commemorate the event and thank everyone who showed their support for the title.
I’ll be interested to see how it fares in the long run, as well as official comments from Quantic about how the success of the game measures up. Of course, selling so many games is quite the feat, but the real question will be; did it sell enough?
Well, let’s certainly hope so. While Beyond: Two Souls is very much a marmite game, you can’t argue against it’s original ideas.
