Dead Space is one of my favorite survival horror titles, mostly due to the fact it’s well, in space. I have an instant affection for such titles, and Dead Space hits the nail on the head for me in almost all the right spots. Although it does lack some of the atmosphere (no pun intended) of some of the earlier Silent Hill titles (the second in particular) I do still love the game.
With that all said, I’ve finished both titles and have eagerly been waiting in anticipation for a third in the series. There were rumors last year that a third title was in the works, and now more evidence has popped up in the form of yet another retailer being naughty and putting up a title for pre-order.

EA hasn’t officially announced the title, though various job listings last year hint that the title is at the least in some form of development.
BT Games have a bit of a history with games reveals, including Jak and Daxter HD collection and the inclusion of Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer mode. So it isn’t so much of a shot in the dark that this could be a good hint of things to come.
