Both Valhalla Games and Nintendo of America have confirmed that Devil’s Third will be coming to the US Wii U eShop in the fourth quarter.
They also made a rather surprising reveal – that it will be coming to the PC. The PC platform will see the release of Devil’s Third Online, a multiplayer only game which is “free to start”.
According to a statement from Valhalla Games, it will launch “in various regions around the world following the release of the Wii U version in each region. In consideration of cultural characteristics in each region, the content is being optimized via co-development with local publishers. Service territories and the details of game content will be announced accordingly.”
The Wii U version will have a story mode, but obviously the PC version will not. But, to be honest, it’s surprising it’s coming to the PC at all. It will launch on August 4 in Japan and August 28 in Europe.
