Dragon Age Inquisition is the latest and hopefully greatest addition into the Dragon Age franchise. It will also mark the first of the DA series to be using the new Frostbite 3 engine.
We have finally a single screenshot of the new game revealed. Posted on the blog of Matt Komsthoeft, who is a programmer at Bioware. He also comments a little on his personal blog about his role on the game:
“Now I’m working on the Dragon Age franchise and having a lot of fun doing it!,” Says Matt.
“We are trailblazing with an engine that has never been used to make an RPG before yet already has a number of beautiful games using it.”
The Original Dragon Age was very well received, while the second title received a more mixed reception when players and reviewers got their hands on the title. We do know that the new Mass Effect and Dragon Age Inquisition will not only be both powered by Frostbite 3. They will also share a similar core system too. Frostbite 3 engine will also power Battlefield 4, which will be released before the end of the year,
