These are the first Dark Souls 2 gameplay screenshots, released alongside a Dark Souls 2 gameplay video yesterday.
It will be the first game in the Souls series not to be done by creator from Hidetaka Miyazaki. Instead Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura will be developing the title, with Miyazaki supervising production.
These screens very much have the look of the previous games in terms of graphics and textures, and seems to be keeping the grim and dark look of the previous Souls games. These images of Dark Souls 2 give you a good preview of the game, graphical fidelity and a sneak preview at the gameplay.
Dark Souls 2 will be a multi platform release, with it coming out on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. And here’s hoping the PC port is less of a shambles this time.
