The first screenshots for Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past 2 for the 3DS, which was just revealed yesterday.
This sequel to the SNES classic was revealed by Nintendo on a Nintendo Direct broadcast, which will be released before the end of 2013 on the Nintendo 3DS.
A Link to the Past 2 will have a new storyline and dungeons set in the same world as the 1992 original, Nintendo has said.
Link will be able to transform into a moving wall drawing, switching the game’s camera perspective and allowing him to traverse the environment in new ways, which immediately reminds me of Okami and Paper Mario. It is nice to see some interesting ideas coming to the LoZ table, let’s hope that this idea is not the only new idea that Nintendo will be bringing to Link to the Past 2.
