If you’re an Xbox One owner, there’s a pretty good chance you’re looking forward to Gears of war 4; and the good news is that from next month you’ll be able to play the multiplayer GOW4 Beta in the comfort of your own home. Some lucky souls have managed to try the game out early thanks to the Gears of War 4 beta tour, which is currently in London, allowing players to test out the game before the home beta begins.
Unfortunately, no leaked GOW4 footage has made its way onto the internet yet, but Chuck Osieja and Rod Fergusson decided to share a few images of the beta on their respective Twitter accounts.

If you’re the owner of Gears of War Ultimate Edition on the Xbox One, you’ll be able to participate the beta from April 18th, assuming you played GOW Ultimate Edition before the 11th. So if you haven’t played the game on your system / account, now is a pretty good time to start. If you don’t own the game, you’ll be able to join in assuming you’re a gold member, on April 24th, but because the beta ends on the 1st May, you’ll get considerably less time to chainsaw your friends.
We’re still waiting for an official release date for Gears of War 4, all we know is that it’ll be released 2016. There’s also been many murmurings we’ll see the GoW4 released on PC; but there’s unfortunately been no official statement one way or the other.
