God of War 4 Teased by Sony

The evidence for another addition to the God of War franchise continues to mount as an image that was posted on PlayStation‘s Facebook page recently looks to be linked to God of War 4.

This is not the only evidence to God of War4’s existence, though. As you may have seen here on RGT and other gaming sites, a New Zealand based retailer also started accepting pre-orders for the title.

And now, it has been revealed that the teaser image (which you can see at the top of this article) which was posted has been revealed to be named
“ps_gow-teaser” on Sony’s servers.  Of course, it’s always a possibility that the image is a hoax, such as the fan made logo which appeared some time ago, but it is supposedly being listed as a “webasset” on SCEA.com. which as you may know is the shortlink for PlayStation’s U.S site.

I, personally, am hopeful. It all looks to heavily scream God of War – from the choice of words (come on, “Will vengeance bring redemption?” that sounds like GoW to me) to the overall design and even the choice of font. I also don’t think that Sony will let such a huge franchise die, so even if this turns out to be some other game I think Kratos is due for another outing.
