A new free DLC patch version 1.18 will be coming soon to PS4, Xbox One, PS3 & Xbox 360, Including: patches, new DLC in the form of rumoured Veteran’s Day bonuses, and of course heists (finally!). But one major concern is; will the DLC update content be identical for both previous and next-gen systems from now on?
As fans are eagerly in anticipation of the release of the long awaited PS4 and Xbox One releases of GTA 5, some are questioning the continuation of DLC’s for last-gen systems, or even lest content being pushed to the consoles.
With the huge install base of the PS3 & Xbox One I highly doubt that Rockstar would do this, but it also depends on the limitations of the older consoles. If heists are being supported via the next update, I bet that Rockstar haven’t forgotten about you.
Rockstar also urgently recommend installing the day one patch for next-gen releases:
“In order to experience the game properly, please make sure you install this Update before playing (like all Title Updates, it will be applied automatically as long as you are connected to the internet).
We will be looking closely at your feedback from the initial launch days on the new platforms to help inform other future dynamic tuning changes and Title Updates as always. And get ready for continuing free content Updates for Grand Theft Auto Online, including the highly-anticipated launch of Online Heists (which, to be absolutely clear, will be available for all four consoles to enjoy)”
GTA 5 re-mastered edition will have some impressive features to make it more than just a touched-up re-release, including: 1080p/30fps, Enhanced Vehicular Details, First Person Mode, 30-player Online support, Hugely Increased Draw Distances, More Populated Areas (Cars and People), More Wildlife, and a bunch of other exciting features. Also if you want, you can transfer your previous character over to the new systems.
GTA 5 will release for PS4 and Xbox One on November 18th
