Halo 4’s Forge Island DLC has released today, making it almost two weeks early, and is available now free via XBLA or the in game store.
This free update wasn’t actually due until April 11, but has been released early as it passed certification much quicker than was anticipated. This DLC, which is all of 155MB, will add a new Forge Island map to the game’s forge mode. The new map contains three large islands with flat surfaces, separated by a body of water.
According to developer 343 Industries, the map was created for fans after they asked for a flat environment on which to build their own multiplayer arenas.
