Gearbox revealed a bunch of DLC for Borderlands 2 at PAX East 2o13, one of which was a brand new playable character.
Krieg, the sixth playable character for Borderlands 2, is based on the Psycho enemies and specialises in melee attacks and throwing weapons. He has three skill trees – Bloodlust, which will focus on his Buzz Axe weapon and will actively reward players for successfully chaining combo kills. There is also Mania, which increases the rate your action skill recharges as Krieg takes damage, and Hellborn, which increases fire damage while the character is on fire. This DLC will be available to play in May for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft points.

As well as this, there will be a DLC pack released on April 2 which will raise the game’s level cap by 11, bringing the total to 61. This DLC will cost $4.99 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC although it will of course be free to season pass holders.
On the very same day, April 2, there will also be a free piece of content released for Borderlands 2. This DLC will add a new mode, Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. This new mode will be available to anyone who has beaten True Vault Hunter Mode, and also reached level 50. This new mode will scale enemies to the highest level member of your party.
Gearbox also mentioned that there will be yet more DLC to come before the end of June this year.
