Octodad: Dadliest Catch, the world’s premier octopus simulator, has been pushed back on the PS4.
The developer, who goes by the name Young Horses, has announced that Octodad will now be released in April, which is quite a push back from it’s original March release window.
This was revealed via the official Twitter for the game, which you can see below.
Naturally, they were also asked if Octodad will be making his way onto Microsoft’s Xbox One, which netted the reply,
“Our word on the Xbox One version is ‘we’re thinking about it’, and we don’t currently have plans for Wii U.”
Octodad has been met with very mixed reviews, which isn’t exactly surprising. However, I personally think the game is full of genuine humour and a lot of charm, as well as shining with the love and care of it’s development studio. The game does have it’s share of frustration, but I think it’s worth it if you can push past it.
