Companies are really starting to bring series back from the past. Microsoft and Nintendo revived some of their series at E3, Capcom is rereleasing REmake for every console available, and now Ice-Pick Lodge is doing something with their first game, Pathologic.
For those of you unfamiliar with the dev, Ice-Pick Lodge is a Russian developer who released their first game, Pathologic, back in 2005. The game was a hit and the company has gone on to make other games such as The Void (A.K.A Tension), Cargo: The Quest For Gravity, and Knock-Knock.
Recently, Ice-Pick Lodge uploaded onto their YouTube page a trailer for a game that seems to be related to their Pathologic IP. In addition to the trailer (viewable below), they also distributed a link to the site feverishfeeling.com. The site has the text, “You can’t save them all, time is running out” and a countdown timer that is set to reveal what it is that they’re doing on September 4th. As of the writing of this article, it is unknown if they’re making a remake of the original Pathologic, or if they’re making a sequel to the game. We’ll only know when the clock reaches zero.
And, for those of you interested in Ice-Pick Lodge’s previous works, you can find their games on Steam, Good Old Games, or through retail.
