Atlus has finally announced that Persona 5 will be making it’s way to North America in 2015. There is no mention of an EU or Oceania release at this time.
As you might expect, the next entry in the classic JRPG series will be an exclusive to the PS3. Aside from this, there wasn’t much new revealed on the game, but there was an English version of a already released trailer shown. You can find it below.
However, there was some news about the Persona 3/4 spin offs, as Atlus also confirmed these these would be having a US release. As I mentioned earlier, there’s no mention of an EU release for any of these titles yet, but I would expect them to make their way over here as well.
The spin offs confirmed for a USA release are Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, a game for the 3DS, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, a fighting game for PS3 and Xbox 360 and Persona 4: Dancing All Night a rather strange title for the PS Vita.
Hopefully though, we’ll get a confirmation of a European release date for Persona 5 soon, and with any luck it won’t be too far from the US release date.
