Rather happily, Sony has now officially confirmed that there will be public beta testing for their upcoming game, Playstation All Stars Battle Royale.
SuperBot entertainment’s (who is the company responsible for actually developing the title) president Chan Park, said that Sony intends to bring the beta “to the entire PlayStation nation this fall”. They will be sending out beta access codes to people over the coming weeks, with early access being given to Playstation Plus members. Nice.
Park also went on to address the recent “unexpected and unintended” leak which revealed brand new stages and characters to the public.
“We’ve enjoyed reading all of the fan reaction and are thrilled that so many of you are excited to learn more our character roster and level mash-ups, however we are still in development and the leaked content does not fully represent the final product nor the incredible efforts that were made to make these elements truly spectacular.
“This will be evident in the coming weeks as this content is officially revealed, beginning with our next character announcement at Gamescom in a couple of weeks.”
