Here in the UK I sit with anticipation of when the PlayStation Now BETA may be coming this way, while over in North America, not only has this region has been able to rent games for a while now using this service, but Sony have just gone and broadcasted the release of it new subscription plan prices and start date making the service more compelling and potentially more affordable depending on usage.
Sony announced its subscription for PlayStation Now will be available on 13th January, 2015 with a free PlayStation Now theme to download for PS4 and a 7-day free trial! You will be able to choose from two subscription plans: $19.99 for one month, or $44.99 for three months.
It’s good to see that the subscription plan is now available to all gamers who are enthusiastic to dive into this service but don’t want to play the ridiculous rental fees that, in some cases, cost more than buying the game outright from a local store.
PlayStation Now is an app downloaded from the PlayStation store which allows streaming of 100+ PS3 games from any PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV, and even Sony TV’s without having to download anything but the app itself.
