We have just got another price of good news coming from Sony this week at Gamescom. Sony have been running a closed beta in North America but now myself and other UK residents will be happy to know that Sony will be bringing its Now TV BETA to the UK starting 2015.
Sony has got a huge backlash for pricing games ridiculously high. You will not have the option to buy the game through PlayStation Now and the maximum subscription time is 90 days. However, a fair amount of 90 days subscription prices matches or even succeeds in price of a game you could buy on disk, thus questioning the need to rent the game at all, when you could purchase the game for the same price or cheaper, then eventually sell to make money back. Let’s hope that feedback has been taken into consideration and prices become a little more reasonable.
PlayStation Now is a game streaming subscription service that will give you a huge library of digital games to stream to your PS4, Bravia TV, PS Vita, PS TV, or tablet without having to buy a disk or download any files. Currently only the PS4 will be available for streaming during the beta, but other devices will follow on or after full release.
