What is in store for Batman?
Rocksteady’s third Batman title will supposedly be a prequel set in the Silver Age, it has been suggested.
According to the site Variety, the supposedly “highly stylised” prequel will drawn inspiration from DC’s 1950s era comic books and will also feature other famous heroes such as Superman. The game will apparently focus on Batman’s very first meeting with Joker, around the time the Justice League was first founded.
The article seems to speculate a 2014 release date at the very earliest, but neither Warner Bros. nor Rocksteady have offered any concrete details about the series’ future, aside from the future release of Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition for the Wii U.
