As anyone who has actually played it will probably know, the Silent Hill HD collection was a bit of a mess on release, with a ton of technical issues. But it looks as if Konami is finally releasing a patch in order to combat these issues.
This patch was actually promised by Konami on April 25th, but it has finally been released for the Playstation 3. Tomm Hulett, Konami’s producer, made the announcement on the Silent Hill message boards but unfortunately made no mention of when Xbox 360 users can expect to be receiving the patch.
However, the patch is intended to fix the following issues:
- Improved Framerate.
- Voice Sync is greatly improved.
- Missing sounds have been fixed.
- Missing music has been addressed.
- Fog density issues are resolved.
- Other minor visual/audio improvement.
So hopefully we will get some news as to when this patch will be out for 360, as these issues are rather pressing and Konami has taken long enough to fix them as it is.
