Two big games I know everyone has been looking forward too with anticipation to when we get to play these games. Now we finally get some more information on when we will see these two AAA games coming to store’s and origin’s figurative, shelves.
Battlefield: Hardline will be release March 2015. Apparently Activision’s saving grace for last years abysmal game Battlefield 4 (which took almost a year to fix), is the companies way of trying to return trust to all Battlefield veterans. Since we first heard of the new title of the series, games were still hurt over the horrible mess of the previous installment. But, it is clear that Activision are not shying away for their errors and are promising a working game day 1 (which we expect).
With the release of the BETA, some haven’t been convinced that it would be able to label itself a new game, but instead it acts more of an expansion to last years game. With this, gamers are feeling less confident about shelling out full price for this day.
Activision have even delayed the game from October 2014 to 2015 for extra development time and are pushing that this will make up for last years errors.
Star Wars Battlefront, which we still don’t know too much about, except it wont be called Star Wars Battlefront 3…will be a first person shooter and will be released in holiday 2015, and will be developed in collaboration DICE.
I hope to god we do not see a repeat performance with DICE and Activation with Battlefield 4, and that we see that Star Wars gets the respect it deserves 🙂 .
The date was mentioned in a conference call between EA boss Andrew Wilson and investors, and confirmed later via Twitter:
May the Force be with you: Star Wars Battlefront will release for Holiday 2015.
