Well, E3 2012 certainly had a lot of expectations surrounding it. We knew that major games, such as “The Last Of Us” and “Metal Gear Rising” would be shown. We also knew there would be a lot of information on Nintendo’s new baby, the Wii U.
More sinister than this, we also recognized Sony were in financial trouble, as I reported just a few days ago, their stock is now at a 30 year low.
But, last E3 wasn’t that interesting for me… there were few surprises. This certainly isn’t the case for this E3. A lot of the trailers have blown me away, The Last of Us is looking particularly incredible. I cannot wait to get my hands on Naughty Dog’s latest game. Crysis 3 and Dead Space 3 are also sequels that are note-worthy to me. Crysis 3 looks gorgeous, and I love the thought of Dead Space 3’s new location. I’m not completely sold on the co-op nature though.
