There aren’t any current plans for Until Dawn DLC, but developer Supermassive does go down that route, the context would be key.
These comments came from executive producer Pete Samuels in a recent interview with Playstation Lifestyle, where he was asked about the chance of Until Dawn DLC.
“The underlying ‘truths’ in the story are pretty sacred. If an expansion of any kind required us to change a truth then we wouldn’t be happy doing it. We get asked a lot for a happy-ending for one character in particular. We can’t see how that could work without breaking some important truths. I’m not ruling out DLC, we just haven’t yet found the right context for it.”
He was also asked about the chance of a sequel, and it seems that given the surprise success of the original, it could happen.
