Watch_Dogs is undoubtedly among the most anticipated titles for the year regardless of the platform you’re intending to play it on. The good news is that we’ve finally got the release date, May 27th, 2014. This was confirmed via a trailer that was released, and additionally there’ll be a Watch Dogs PS4 bundle available too.
Ubisoft have also confirmed that for multiplayer the title will feature an 8 player free roaming mode, with very little info aside from that on exactly how it works. Still, at least for those of you who’ve online in mind, you can rest assured that you will indeed be catered for.
There have also been rumors in circulation regarding the eventual resolution of the title on the platforms.
The Xbox One will be playing the title at 960P / 30FPS
The Playstation 4 will see Watch Dogs at 1080P / 30 FPS
The PC will enjoy up to 4K, with of course FPS depending on your hardware.
These rumors started at Arab gamer, although Shinobi602 from Neogaf back in February the 17th stated that the title on the Xbox One will be running at 900/30FPS on the Xbox One. We’ll have to see how Ubisoft react to the news and either confirm or deny the resolution and frame rates.
