The Wii U, Nintendo’s Next Generation Console, finally has a price point of 30,000 Yen, about $383 US dollars. This compares to the PS3’s 160gb at around $319 US dollars.
Meanwhile the 3DS is rumored to soon be released with a screen 1,5 times larger than it currently boasts, putting it at 4.3 inches. Reports show that it’ll be released globally by as early as this summer.
It’s clear Nintendo are hitting the hardware section of the industry hard. It will be interesting how customers handle the Wii U’s price, and how current 3DS owners will feel about a larger screened handheld.
