A spokesperson for Microsoft has confirmed that there will be some tweaks heading towards the Xbox One controller, which will be designed to improve the sensitivity of the analogue sticks.
These details first emerged from the wild a few days ago, when Respawn (you know, those guys behind that little game known as TitanFall) claimed that they had helped Microsoft fix the X1 controller’s “overly twitchy” input.
The Microsoft spokesperson confirmed via an official statement to Joystiq;
“The February update will increase the sensitivity of the outer boundaries of the thumbsticks on the Xbox One controller. The update will happen automatically when your controller syncs with your console.”
It seems fairly likely that this improvement will be included in the previously announced Xbox One update, which is due out this month. This patch will be the first major one for the console since it’s launch, and will be addressing and improving upon numerous things.
