A new sequel to 999 Doors and Virtue’s Last Reward has been officially announced at Anime Expo 2015 in LA.
Aksys Games has confirmed, via a press release, that the 3DS and Vita game will be launching some time in 2016.
The press release also implied that some familiar characters would return. Some of the other features they discussed were fully voiced cinematics, multiple endings, as well as Japanese and English voice over options.
According to a Gematsu report, the 4inifinity teaser website is tied to this game somehow, and everything the site produces will relate to the final product. Aaaalright then.
Although this title is still so in development that the title itself is probably up for debate, Aksys did share a few details about the story. It will be set on a test colony on Mars, where researchers studying the psychological effects of Mars colonisation. Apparently there’s also a dog, and you just know that something horrible is going to happen to it at some point.
