Warner has announced that a patch will finally be coming to Batman Arkham Knight on PC – in August.
Now, you might remember that I did a video concerning a recent report, which claimed that the PC version would not be fixed until September. Before you go and dismiss that as wrong, there’s still time for it to be right – due to the fact that this is an “interim” patch.
This news came via a Steam forum post, which reads, “The update for existing players will be released in August. This update will address many of the issues we listed in our June 27 update. We will provide additional details as we finalize that interim patch over the coming weeks.”
“We would like to thank you for your continued patience and invaluable feedback. We are continuing to monitor and listen for any additional issues and are driving towards a full update for everyone as quickly as we possibly can.”
So it seems like this patch will act as a sort of “bridge” between it and the final one, which will presumably bring about the return of Batman Arkham Knight to the PC platform. Here’s hoping, because while the game shouldn’t have been released in this state, it has also taken far too long to fix. Just goes to show that maybe the PC version should have been delayed.
