Dawngate, an EA MOBA which has yet to be officially announced, has been revealed by the launch of it’s website.
The site, which was helpfully spotted by Superannuation, also lists Waypoint Games as the MOBA games’ developer.
The ‘About’ section reads as such,
“We’re sincere students of games; what they are, what they have been, what they can become. And we want to make a contribution.”
The site also says that Dawngate is “built from the ground up to look and feel familiar while offering a whole new way to experience MOBA gameplay.
Dawngate empowers you to forge the champions you love for the roles you want in a competitive arena, shaped by ever-evolving, community-driven content and story.”
There’s not much information yet, as you can see, but it will be interesting to see what (and if) Waypoint can bring something fresh to the oversaturated MOBA genre. You can view my full thoughts and speculations in the video below.
