New Batman Arkham Origins Screenshots Confirm Joker & Anarky Appearance

A fresh batch of Batman Arkham Origins screenshots have been released by Warner which confirm that both Joker and Anarky will appear in the game.

It is no surprise that Joker will be making an appearance in this prequel, but what is more interesting is that we most likely won’t be seeing Kevin Conroy as Batman. He did confirm that he will be making an appearance in the game at Dallas Comic Con, but it was recently revealed that a lot of new blood is being brought in for the voices, including the Joker. What does this mean? Well, in all honesty I think it is most likely that Conroy will voice old Batman, but in a narrator’s role, talking and explaining his thoughts and feelings and most likely, his regrets as well. That makes much more sense to me that him being brought in for a new, unrelated character.

What is sad though, is that we will not be seeing Mark Hamil as the Joker. Instead, we will have Troy Baker, who provided the voice for Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite. His voice acting there was very good indeed, so I am sure we will all be listening with curious ears as to what his take on the Joker’s personality is.
