While nearly every other gamer out there is off buying or gifting games through Steam’s Summer Sale, IGN cared to release the information that Platinum Games (The developers behind the Bayonetta games, Metal Gear Rising, The Wonderful 101, and the upcoming XB1 exclusive ScaleBound) are developing a game for the Nickelodeon TV series, The Legend Of Korra (The sequel series to Avatar: the Last Airbender).
The game will be digital download title, and will release in the Fall on the PS3, PS4, 360, XB1, and PC. The story of the game set to take place in between Season 2 of the show and Season 3 which is to air this Friday, June 27 in North America. Throughout the game you’ll be playing as the Korra and using all four elements (Earth, Air, Water, and Fire) to defeat enemies and compete in 3-on-3 Pro-Bending tournaments.
For the Nintendo gamers, they don’t fully luck out. Webfoot Technologies is developing a turn-based strategy game for the 3DS. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything said about there being a Wii U release, but since the game is published by Activision, there could be a very slim chance.
