Resident Evil 6 info and Christian Svensson says he wishes the Street Fighter X Tekken DLC had been handled differently.

Games informer caught an interview with Svensson, and along with him discussing the upcoming Sequel to Resident Evil 6, he also speaks about SFXT DLC.

The DLC for SFxT is one of the biggest debates raging in gaming right now, with tens of thousands of angry fans voicing their opinions (very loudly) over Capcom’s decision to include DLC on the disc. Fans argue Capcom “lied” in just how complete the content was, accusing the company of misleading them into thinking that it wasn’t that far into development, let alone on the disc.

Christian Svensson in a recent interview in Gamesinformer said this:

“It came down to a development process issue more than anything. I wish it had been done differently. I think it just becomes — the rationality of what content costs to make and how you fund that content doesn’t come into play here for the consumer. It’s an emotional issue that I think we need to be sensitive to.

The other part of this is we could have had a better communication strategy around this back at the outset. Left to their own devices, consumers will always jump to the worst possible conclusion. I think what you’ll see in the coming weeks the conclusions that were jumped to were not the correct ones.”
