Hang your heads in shame for another delay is upon us. But raise your head in pleasure, because if a delay is the option, then a delay was most likely needed.
Although The Division was not technically delayed as a release date has not been announced, it will be pushed back from the original release window of 2015, and will be coming in Ubisoft’s fiscal year 2016, which begins March, 2016.
The Division is looking to come in Q4 2016 and also added to this release window will be Tom Clancy’s: Rainbow 6 Siege, which should be arriving in Q3 2016, and another unannounced AAA game.
Ubisoft’s CEO, Yves Guilemot, stated all new games onward will be for current-gen systems except for Just Dance, which will also be for previous consoles.
Hopefully we will see some more information at this year’s E3 and hopefully a more detailed release window.
