Developer Two Tribes has confirmed that Toki Tori 2 will be released on the PC, with numerous additions.
As you might have guessed, the + in the title shows that the PC port of Toki Tori 2 will include a lot of new additions to the game. PC users will be getting, as well as some other shinies, a brand new level editor which will allow you to create your own levels which will have Steam Workshop integration which will let you share your created levels with your friends.
They have also added some new achievements, as well as some brand spanking new puzzles and even some gameplay tweaks. Apparently there is now a guide mechanic will help players not get stuck in the earlier levels.
Speaking of levels, they will contain new gates to “make sure you can reach your intended destination more efficiently”. Navigation will also be tweaked, with an improved world map, along with new stand-out landmarks which will “help the player to better understand its position on the world map.”
However, this does not mean that these features will be exclusive to the PC version, as a company rep said this;
“we’ll update the Wii U version with the Steam version changes that make sense on the platform,” including the level editor, which is “still planned for an update”.
