You’ve probably already heard about The Witcher 3’s new game plus mode, as it was revealed as the final piece of free DLC for the game.
Well, CD Projekt are as helpful as ever, as community lead Marcin Momot said has given some info on exactly how it works.
The first thing is that – rather obviously – enemies will be stronger. But what will actually carry over into the new game? Marc said that your experience, money, and alchemy recipes will carry over. Also, so will items – with a few exceptions: gwent cards, quest items, books, letters, usable items and trophies.
As well as this, you will start the game at your current level, unless you finished the game at below level 30; in that case the game will bump you up to level 30.
Marc said, “You also get a free Clearing Potion at the start so you can reset your skills and try a different build.”
Naturally, you can pick any difficulty you want at the start your new game plus. Unfortunately, we don’t yet know yet when this last piece of free DLC will release.
