For gamer’s wanting to know the release date Rockstar Games for one of the biggest titles of 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2, you’re in luck.
Today, we learn that Red Dead Redemption 2 misses the Spring 2018 release window which had been announced earlier, but instead Rockstar will have Red Dead Redemption 2 on store shelves on October 26th, 2018. So fans will indeed have a slight delay to play the game.
According to the team over at Rockstar, this is for good reason, and they are delayed the title to give them ‘extra time for polish’. Frankly, I’m quite happy for them to delay the game a couple of months if it means a better experience when exploring the wild west.
“We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26th 2018. We apologize to everyone disappointed by this delay” said Rockstar on their official website. “While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish.
We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it. In the meantime, please check out these screenshots from the game. We look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks.”
In the meanwhile to tide you over, there’s several new screen shots the company have released – and it must be said that Red Dead Redemption 2 looks absolutely gorgeous. From a technical perspective, I do wonder what system the images were captured from.
